Here, we acknowledge the harsh realities faced by our LGBTIQ community, including rampant homophobia and transphobia in the host community. Our mission is to support and empower LGBTQ+ youth and refugees by providing safe shelter, access to essential services and medical care that many endure. Together, we strive to create a supportive space that advocates for rights, raises awareness, and fosters unity.
About Us
The Diverse Dreams Project is an inclusive initiative working to uplift and empower LGBTQ+ youth and refugees who face intersecting challenges of marginalization, displacement, and socio-economic exclusion. Many of the youth we serve are homeless, out of school, and denied access to critical services making them particularly vulnerable to exploitation, violence, and lifelong poverty.
